The top 9 listed players collectively sold homes worth INR 10,669 CR in Q2 of FY22 (July to September). Their booking revenue in this given quarter rose by a staggering 89% against the same period in the last fiscal (Q2 FY21), when it was INR 5,645 Cr.
Residential property prices across the top cities increased by 1-4% in Q3 2021 compared to Q3 2020, mainly due to an increase in construction cost. Data reveals that the top 7 cities collectively saw average property prices increase by 3% annually - to INR 5,760 per sq. ft. in Q3 2021 from INR 5,600 per sq. ft. in Q3 2020. Bengaluru saw the highest 4% annual rise to INR 5,150 per sq. ft.

Among the top 7 cities, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai saw their share of total office leasing increase to 66% in FY21 (against 47% in FY18).

The net office absorption in FY21 in the top cities was 21.32 mn sq.

COVID-19 has driven a lot of latent demand into tier 2 and 3 cities. This demand is driven by the improved economic growth, infrastructural developments, lower cost of living and more attractive real estate prices in these cities.
As per latest ANAROCK data, of the total sales made in the first nine months of FY2021 (approx. 93,140 units) across the top 7 cities, the top 8 listed players’ share stood at 22% while non-listed leading players’ share was 18%. Non-branded developers accounted for a 60% share
